  • Taxotere - The prescription chemotherapy medication used to treat breast, lung, stomach, and head & neck cancer may cause permanent hair loss when safer alternatives are available.
  • PhysioMesh™ - Used for hernia repair or fixation and may cause  internal injuries including abdominal infection, hernia recurrence, hernia revision surgery, internal injuries to any organs, and/or surgical infections resulting from the mesh adhering to organs.
  • Risperdal® - This antipsychotic medication used to treat schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and autism may cause the development of male breasts.



  • Roundup - Roundup weed killer may cause Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.
  • IVC Filters - Used during surgery to prevent clots from breaking up and traveling to the heart or lungs.  If left in place beyond the recommended time (29-54 days), the filters can cause serious complications or death. 
  • ​Xarelto® (rivaroxaban) - May cause severe internal bleeding or hemorrhagic stroke after taking this medication to treat and prevent blood clots.
  • Johnson’s Baby Powder - After long term use of talcum powder to control moisture and friction, the fibers in the powder can migrate to the ovaries and cause cancer.
  • Testosterone Replacement Therapy - (TRT), may cause heart attack, stroke and death.  Commonly prescribed in the following forms:  Androderm, Androgel, Axirom, Bio-T-Gel, Delastestryl, Depo-Testosterone, Fortesta, Striant, Testim, Testopel.​
